MBezuidenhout Couture is a
symbol of timeless elegance and style. The well known
Michael Bezuidenhout is the leading designer for the fashion
house in this new corporate identity, with José as
professional and competent assistant. Michael and his
phenomenal team pour their harts into each creation.
Michael received his diploma in
Engineering (Electrical Strong Current) in 1995, but decided
rather to go into fashion design. Already in his first year
he was recognized as one of four young student designers to
represent SA in Belgian at the international young designers
competition. He received a bronze medal amongst 178
competitors from 38 countries.
He received various awards during the
years, amongst others "Most classical designer in SA"
(1998/1999), overall winner of "The All SA bridal design
awards" (1998-1999), "SA's
Christmas & Millennium Visual Displayer of the year" (1999).
He has been the designer of various representatives of Mrs.
SA as well as Miss SA and is the official designer of
different model and beauty contests. Among his clientele are
the who's who of our country, personalities like Amor Vittone, Zuraida Jardine,
Claudia Henkel, Cindy Nell, Theresa Benade and numerous
others.
Luzanne Barlow is working at MBezuidenhout Couture as
assistant to Michael as well as production manager.
She completed her studies in the picturesque town of
Stellenbosch, at the Elizabeth Galloway Academy of
Fashion Design. She was a semi-finalist for the Durban
July Young Designers Award 2007.
